The circuitry is more or less the same as that found in the Sanyo 6C-8. The only design differences are the lack of the connector for an external battery pack found on the 6C-8 and the use of a single earphone jack on the side. The combination earphone & external speaker jack on the back allows a second person to listen through earphones anyway.
