The spectacular two-tone leather case for the TR-62 was sold separately as an optional accessory at a retail price of 700 yen. While it may not sound like much today, that was a lot of scratch back in 1957.
The case is lined with a soft plush felt material and includes a buckle-down strap to secure the radio. The loops in the center hold the external telescopic antenna.
I was fortunate to buy this NOS (New Old Stock) case unused and in its own cardboard box after acquiring my TR-62.
